Zebronics is a Chennai-based brand that sells peripherals, accessories, and audio gear across India. They are not a premium brand, but they are widely available - you will find Zebronics products at Croma, Amazon India, Flipkart, and local electronics shops in smaller cities where imported brands are harder to source. For a cable management box, that availability matters because if you want to return or replace a unit, you can actually do it.

What the Box Does

The Zebronics cable management box is a rectangular lidded container with cutouts on the sides for cables to enter and exit. You place a power strip inside, feed the wall plug out through one opening, route your device cables out through another, and close the lid. The result is a box sitting on or under your desk instead of a visible power strip with cables splaying out in all directions.

The box sits flat or can be positioned under a desk depending on your setup. The lid lifts off for access to the power strip and any adapter bricks sitting inside.

Build Quality Assessment

The plastic is standard ABS, same as most cable management boxes in this price range. It is not flimsy, but it is also not the dense, heavy plastic of the more premium Bluelounge or D-Line products. The lid fits adequately - it clicks into place and does not rattle, but the tolerances are not tight enough to give the box a sealed or premium feel.

The cutout openings are sized generously, which is good for fitting a variety of cable thicknesses but means there is no real cable guide or strain relief at the entry points.

Ventilation and Heat

This is the most significant practical concern. Power adapters inside a closed box generate heat. The Zebronics box has small ventilation slots, but in my experience they are not sufficient for a fully loaded power strip with multiple laptop and phone chargers active simultaneously. After an hour of use, the interior gets noticeably warm to the touch through the lid.

In Indian summer conditions - rooms hitting 35–40°C without AC - this heat accumulation is a real concern. I would not put a UPS or a high-wattage adapter in this box. For phone chargers and light laptop chargers, it is manageable. For anything drawing significant power, consider leaving the lid ajar or choosing a box with better ventilation like the Fitsme model.

Price and Availability Advantage

At ₹799–899, the Zebronics box is priced competitively. More importantly, it is available at Croma stores physically, which means you can see the size before buying and return it easily if it does not fit your desk setup. The physical retail access is something most imported cable management products cannot offer in India.

Actual Downsides

The box dimensions are not ideal for larger power strips - specifically the 6-socket Indian power strips with wider plug spacing. Measure your power strip before buying. The colour options are limited to white or black depending on which variant is in stock.

The Zebronics brand name on the side of the box is visible and somewhat conspicuous if you care about a clean aesthetic.

Who Should Buy This

Someone who wants a cable box they can source locally in India, return easily, and buy from a brand with an Indian service network. If aesthetics and ventilation are your primary concerns, there are better options at a slightly higher price.
