Overview

GetPC (getpc.co.in) is an India-first PC compatibility checker and builder. We take privacy seriously. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.

What we collect

Anonymous usage (no account needed): We collect no personal data. Builds you create are stored only in your browser URL — nothing is sent to our servers.

If you sign in with Google: We store your name, email address, and Google account ID to identify your account. We use this only to save your builds and warranty data.

Analytics: We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate traffic — pages visited, general location (country/city level), device type. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

What we don't collect

Payment information (we have no payment system)
Device hardware data (we have no scanner on the website)
Location beyond country/city level
Any data from children under 13

Cookies

We use cookies for Google Analytics and Google AdSense (advertising). AdSense may use cookies to show relevant ads. You can opt out of personalised ads via Google Ad Settings.

Data storage

Account data is stored in a Neon Postgres database hosted on servers in the United States. We use Vercel for hosting. Both comply with standard data protection practices.

Your rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us. We will delete everything within 7 days.

GetPC Scanner app

The GetPC Scanner desktop app reads hardware information (CPU, GPU, RAM, storage) from your Windows PC using Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI). This data is processed locally and used only to pre-fill the GetPC builder in your browser. No hardware data is stored on our servers.
