Refresh cadence

Catalogue prices are re-verified on the 1st of every month, cross-checked against MDComputers, Computech, PrimeABGB, and Amazon India listings. Prices that have drifted by more than 5% are updated; everything else stays put with a refreshed verification date.

During GPU-shortage or scalping events (like the AI-driven price spikes in 2024-2025), the cadence moves to bi-weekly until stability returns.

If the “last verified” date is more than 35 days old, a yellow banner appears site-wide warning visitors that prices may have drifted. It's a self-imposed accountability mechanism - annoying enough that the refresh actually happens.

30 July 2026
feature
Builder redesigned
The build page is now a full workbench: component navigation, real product photos on every part, per-part buy links across Amazon, Flipkart, MD Computers, and Computech, and a redesigned mobile experience with a swipe-down score sheet.

data update
Compatibility engine expanded to 42 rules
The rule engine now runs 42 checks - more than double the launch set - with wider coverage across power delivery, cooling clearances, memory, BIOS readiness, and warranty health. Every check still reports pass, warn, or fail out loud; nothing passes silently.
12 July 2026
feature
Buyer intake: use case + resolution
The builder now asks what you're buying for (gaming, editing, office) and your target resolution. Verdicts sharpen with your answer: VRAM checks against resolution, resolution-aware bottleneck scoring (1080p leans on the CPU, 4K on the GPU), and gaming-only advice stays out of work builds.
12 July 2026
feature
4 new GetPC Verified opinion rules
Single-stick RAM strategy for today's elevated prices, GPU budget priority for gaming builds, no-SSD warning, and a PSU tier check wired to our published PSU Tier List India 2026. Plus a guard: a PSU with incomplete data can never silently pass verification again.
12 July 2026
feature
315 CPU + GPU pairing checks
New Pairings section: engine-verified bottleneck verdicts for popular CPU and GPU combos at 1080p, 1440p and 4K, with PSU wattage and RAM guidance for each. Every verdict comes from the same engine as the builder.
12 July 2026
data update
Wattage data for 17 staged PSUs
17 recently added PSUs were missing wattage data, which let undersized units pass checks silently. Data corrected and a new engine guard added.
10 July 2026
data update
163 new core parts added to catalogue
Added 21 CPUs, 12 GPUs, 10 motherboards, 7 RAM kits, 50 PSUs, 25 cases, 23 coolers, and 15 storage drives. Includes Intel Arrow Lake (Core Ultra 5/7), AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D, Intel Arc B580/B570, budget options like GTX 1630 and RX 6500 XT, and a full PSU lineup from Corsair, Seasonic, DeepCool, and Indian brands. Total catalogue now 1136 parts.
10 July 2026
feature
Builder crash fixed and null-guarded
Fixed a critical builder crash triggered when selecting a case or cooler. Root cause: new parts missing fields the compatibility engine assumed existed (form_factor_support, radiator_support, socket_support, max_gpu_length_mm, etc). Added optional chaining and fallback arrays to every array method call in both the compat engine and builder, so missing fields can never crash the builder again regardless of part data.
10 July 2026
feature
Bottleneck and future-ready scoring expanded
Added CPU and GPU performance tier entries for all 33 new processors and graphics cards. Bottleneck detection now correctly flags mismatched builds like i5-14600K + RTX 3050. Intel Arc B-series GPUs now classified as current-gen and Arc A-series as last-gen in the future-ready score, instead of being incorrectly penalized as ancient hardware.
10 July 2026
feature
Sidebar overlap fix on product pages
Fixed the desktop sidebar overlapping content when scrolling on product pages. Buy box, current-gen picks, and pairs-well-with sections now live in a single sticky container instead of two competing grid areas.
3 July 2026
price refresh
Prices re-verified across the catalogue
All catalogue prices re-checked against current Indian retail listings (Amazon India, MDComputers, PrimeABGB, Vedant Computers). Prices shown are indicative ranges and stay current within normal market movement.
2 July 2026
feature
Your Garage: share your builds
You can now share any saved build with a public link. Hit the share button on a build card to copy a link or post straight to Reddit - anyone can view it, no login needed. Shared build pages now show a full GetPC Score card with the compatibility, bottleneck, future-readiness and warranty breakdown, so people see exactly why your build scores what it does.
2 July 2026
feature
Your Garage: actionable scores & upgrade tips
Tap the GetPC Score on any build to see your biggest win - the weakest area of your build and the single best GPU upgrade to improve it, with the performance gain and price. Owned PCs now show a quick link to compatible upgrade options too.
2 July 2026
feature
Your Garage: quicker adds & clearer cards
Added "Plan a new build" and "Track a PC you own" buttons at the top of your Garage so both are always one click away. Build cards now show a PUBLIC tag when a build is shared, and the overview shows both your owned PCs and planned builds together. You can also send feedback right from the Garage on mobile now.
2 July 2026
feature
Fixes: warranty tracking & build edits
Fixed an issue where editing a PC you own could reset its warranty coverage, and where changing parts in an owned build did not update the build card or its GetPC Score. Edits now stay in sync everywhere.
