Ant Esports ICE-100TG Review: Budget Mid Tower for Indian Builders

The ICE-100TG is the cabinet I recommend when someone asks me what to buy if they have no more than ₹2,800 to spend on a case. It is not perfect - I will be upfront about that - but at this price point in India, it does more right than wrong. Standard ATX form factor, a tempered glass side panel that most cases in this segment don't include, and enough interior space to build a competent gaming rig without fighting the case every step of the way.

Pricing as of June 2026 sits between ₹2,299 and ₹2,799 depending on where you buy, and that spread matters enough that I'll walk through the exact retailer situation later.

Airflow, Build Quality, and What the Numbers Actually Mean

I've built in a lot of cases across different price bands. The ICE-100TG is honest about what it is: a steel enclosure with a mesh front, a TG side panel, and one pre-installed rear 120mm fan. That's it. The mesh front panel does let air in - more than a solid acrylic panel would - but the mesh itself is fairly fine, so you will not get the unrestricted airflow of something like a Lian Li Lancool III. At this price, that's acceptable.

The steel panels feel thin at 0.6mm. You can flex them slightly with your hand. The tempered glass panel is the pleasant surprise - it uses a four-screw mount, which is sturdier than the push-pin systems I've seen on some competitors. It does not feel like it will shatter if you look at it wrong, though I'd still advise keeping it out of reach if you're building on a marble floor in a Chennai high-rise.

Cable management channels are present but tight. The PSU shroud helps hide the bottom clutter. Behind the motherboard tray there's maybe 15–18mm of clearance, which is enough for flat cables and braided extensions but not for thick bundles of 24-pin and EPS cables stuffed in together. I've had to zip-tie aggressively on two builds in this case.

The value score of 85 is the honest headline. This case does not excel at airflow, cable management, or acoustics, but it gives you more than you'd expect for ₹2,500. The noise dampening score of 40 reflects the complete absence of foam or dampening material anywhere - the steel panels will transmit fan and coil whine directly. If noise is a concern, pair it with quiet fans and a quiet PSU.

Ant Esports products are distributed in India through Rashi Peripherals, which means availability is generally decent in major cities and stocked at most of the larger regional retailers. If you're in Hyderabad, Pune, or Bengaluru, your local gray-market PC street market likely has it. In tier-2 cities like Nagpur, Surat, or Coimbatore, you're probably ordering online.

The dust filter situation is important. India is not a dust-friendly environment for PCs. Delhi NCR and parts of UP regularly see PM2.5 levels that will clog any case fan within weeks. Mumbai during construction season is brutal. The ICE-100TG does have a front dust filter and a bottom PSU filter, but they're thin mesh - not the magnetic multi-layer filters you'd get on a ₹6,000 Fractal case. They catch larger particles reasonably well. I clean mine every three to four weeks during summer when my AC creates a pressure differential that pulls in more dust. In monsoon months - June through September - the humidity is the secondary concern. The steel panels will not rust under normal use, but if you're in a coastal city like Chennai, Kochi, or Visakhapatnam and your room gets genuinely humid without climate control, consider applying a thin spray of contact cleaner to exposed metal edges annually.

Shipping and the glass panel. The tempered glass side panel is the shipping risk. Ant Esports packs it reasonably well, but I've seen two units arrive with cracked panels ordered through third-party Amazon sellers who used minimal padding. Order from fulfilled-by-Amazon listings or directly from MDComputers or Vedant where possible. If you're in a tier-3 city and receiving via courier handoff chains, photograph the box before opening - it protects you for replacement claims.

Clearances, Specs, and Who Should Buy or Skip

The internal dimensions matter practically:

• GPU clearance: up to 320mm with the HDD cage in place; remove the cage and you can squeeze up to 370mm, but I wouldn't recommend running a 320mm+ card in a case at this airflow level anyway
• CPU cooler height: 165mm maximum - this clears virtually all tower air coolers including the DeepCool AK400, ID-Cooling SE-224-XT, and the Cooler Master Hyper 212 variants that are popular in Indian builds
• PSU length: up to 160mm - important because some Indian builders import or buy older Corsair and Antec PSUs that run 180mm; check your PSU length before ordering
• Radiator support: the top panel supports a 240mm radiator; the front supports 240mm as well, though front-mount AIO installation is fiddly at this price point and I wouldn't recommend it unless you specifically need the cooling

Motherboard support: standard ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX. The standoff holes are pre-installed for ATX; check the manual for M-ATX placement.

Buy this case if:

You're building a first gaming PC or a productivity rig in the ₹35,000–60,000 range and want to keep case spend low. You're going with an air-cooled build using an i3 or Ryzen 5 level processor and a mid-range GPU like an RTX 3060 or RX 7600. You want a tempered glass panel to show off the build and can't justify spending ₹1,000–1,500 more for a Cooler Master Q500L or an Ant Esports ICE-511TG. You're comfortable adding one or two 120mm fans to the front to supplement the single rear fan that comes in the box.

Skip this case if:

You're running a high-TDP system - anything with an RTX 4080 or above, or a 65W+ processor under sustained load, will thermal-throttle faster in this enclosure than in a proper airflow-optimized case. You care about acoustic levels - the thin steel panels make this one of the louder cases in the segment. You're planning a custom water loop - there's not enough radiator mounting flexibility. You want to do extensive cable management for a clean build - the tight rear clearance will frustrate you.
