The eSwap X Pro sits in a category that barely exists in India: genuinely modular pro controllers. Most "pro" controllers in this price range are just regular pads with a couple of extra paddles glued on. Thrustmaster built something different here - the face modules physically detach with a pinch, letting you reconfigure the layout in under a minute.

What You're Actually Getting

The controller is Xbox-licensed, which means full plug-and-play compatibility on PC and Xbox consoles. The 3-metre braided USB cable is long enough to reach any desk setup without feeling like you're tethered. Four rear multi-function buttons sit under your ring and middle fingers - they're remappable via the Thrustmaster app on PC, which is functional if not particularly polished.

The trigger stops are a genuine feature for shooters. Short-throw mode cuts the trigger travel noticeably, and I've found it makes a real difference in games where trigger speed matters. The thumbstick tension feels firmer than a standard Xbox controller, which some players love and others hate - there's no way to adjust it on this model.

Build quality is clearly above average. The plastic has a matte texture that resists palm sweat, and the braided cable doesn't kink the way cheaper cables do after a few months. This feels like hardware that will last three or four years with daily use.

The Modular System

The headline feature works as advertised.
