Logitech G733 Wireless Gaming Headset Review — Worth It in India 2026?
The G733 Is the Most Fun-Looking Wireless Headset Under ₹10,000 — But Is Fun Enough?
Logitech's G733 sits in a weird spot. It's wireless, it has LIGHTSPEED, and it comes in colours that aren't just "gamer black." At ₹8,499–9,499, it's asking for serious money while competing against wired headsets that sound objectively better at the same price.
I've spent time with this one, and my verdict is more nuanced than most reviews make it.
What Works
LIGHTSPEED wireless is genuinely good — I've never had it drop or stutter in normal room conditions, and the 29-hour battery claim holds up reasonably well in real use (you'll get 20–24 hours with RGB on). For a wireless headset at this price, that's solid.
The headband suspension system is comfortable for long sessions. I've worn it for 4–5 hour stretches without the clamping pressure that kills most budget wireless headsets. The soft-touch earcups breathe better than pleather alternatives during Indian summers.
The PRO-G 40mm drivers produce a sound signature that leans fun over accurate — boosted bass, decent mids, slightly recessed highs. For casual gaming and Spotify, this works. For competitive shooters where you need to pinpoint footsteps, it's less ideal than the flatter signature on something like the Arctis Nova 1.
The Blue VO!CE microphone software is genuinely useful if you're on Windows — noise filtering and voice EQ that actually work without a dedicated mic setup.
What Doesn't Work
There's no 3.5mm jack. Zero. If your PC USB ports are occupied or you want to use this with a phone or PS5, you can't. That's a significant limitation at this price.
The plastic build feels premium from a distance, but the hinges don't inspire long-term confidence. Logitech's warranty service is handled through their authorized service centers — in major metros this is fine, but tier-2 city owners will deal with courier RMA.
The sound quality, while fun, doesn't justify the premium over wired competitors. A Hyperx Cloud II or Corsair HS65 wired sounds better at a lower price. You're paying for the wireless convenience, not audio fidelity.
India Availability and Value
Available at MDComputers (Kolkata), PrimeABGB, Amazon India, and Flipkart. Prices range ₹8,499–9,499 depending on colour variant — the lilac and blue tend to price slightly higher due to import allocation. The white and black variants hit the lower end of the range more consistently.
GST is included in these prices. Logitech has decent service center coverage in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Hyderabad. Elsewhere, you're doing courier warranty.
Who Should Buy This
- You want wireless and have a strict budget of under ₹10,000
- You primarily game on one Windows PC
- You want something that doesn't look like every other black gaming headset
- Long gaming sessions are your norm and comfort matters more than audio precision
Who Should Skip This
- You need multi-device or mobile compatibility (no 3.5mm is a dealbreaker)
- Competitive gaming is your priority — the audio tuning works against you here
- You're in a tier-2/3 city and worried about warranty hassle
- You'd rather put the money into a better wired headset and save ₹3,000
Questions
Not wirelessly. The LIGHTSPEED dongle is USB-A only and works exclusively with PC. No 3.5mm jack means no wired fallback to consoles either. If you're on console, this headset simply doesn't work.
White and Black are more reliably stocked and priced at the lower end of the ₹8,499–9,499 range. Lilac and Blue often sell out faster and sometimes get a ₹300–500 premium. Buy whichever colour you actually want — the hardware is identical across variants.
The G435 (when available) is lighter and more portable. The G733 is more comfortable for long sessions and has better microphone software. At similar price points, I'd pick the G733 for home PC gaming and the G435 if you're commuting with it.
