What You're Actually Getting
The CT has a 12-button touch panel in the center, six dials along the top, a large central wheel with a haptic touchscreen, and additional buttons on either side. It connects via USB-C and the software lets you build profiles per application - so it behaves differently in Lightroom Classic, Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve automatically.
That per-app switching without any manual toggling is the CT's killer feature. When you cut to Premiere, the dials automatically switch to audio levels and timeline shortcuts. When you jump to Lightroom, they become tone sliders. I've not seen any other device at this price point do this as seamlessly.
