What You're Actually Getting
WiFi 6 over USB has one major advantage over its AC predecessors: OFDMA. In an apartment building with heavy network congestion, WiFi 6's ability to serve multiple clients simultaneously means lower latency even when the band is crowded. On a WiFi 6 router in a congested Indian apartment building, I measured noticeably more consistent pings compared to the same router on an AC adapter - the peak speeds were similar, but the variance was tighter.
