Cooler Master NR200P India Review 2025 - The Best Mini-ITX Case You Can Actually Buy Here
Small Case, Big Build - The NR200P in India
I've built in a lot of mini-ITX cases over the years and most of them force compromises that don't feel worth it. Tiny GPU support. Awkward cable management. Fans that cook themselves because airflow was an afterthought. The Cooler Master NR200P is the case that genuinely changed my opinion on SFF builds. At ₹7,000–10,000 in India, it's not cheap for its size - but it earns every rupee.
Why the NR200P Earns Its Reputation
The engineering here is genuinely clever. Most SFF cases force you to use an SFX power supply - these cost more and offer fewer options in India. The NR200P fits a standard ATX PSU (up to 130mm), which means you can use a Seasonic Focus or Corsair RM series without the SFX premium. That alone saves you ₹2,000–4,000 over comparable SFF builds.
GPU clearance of 330mm covers almost every card on the market in 2025, including triple-fan RTX 4080/4090 cards. The case fits them with the vertical GPU riser mount - which is included in the box, a detail that costs ₹2,000–3,000 extra with most cases.
Cooling is where the NR200P really differentiates. You can fit a 240mm AIO on top with two 120mm exhausts on the side simultaneously - a configuration that keeps even a Ryzen 7 5800X3D or i7-13700K cool in a compact footprint. The mesh side panel option (the NR200 non-P) improves airflow further if you're willing to drop the glass aesthetic.
India Pricing and Availability
The NR200P runs ₹7,000–10,000 in India. MDComputers and Amazon India are your best bets for consistent stock. PrimeABGB carries it occasionally. Flipkart availability is hit-or-miss - I've seen it listed by third-party sellers at inflated prices, so stick to the authorized retailers.
One note: the NR200P comes in white and black. In India, the white version tends to be harder to find and commands a ₹500–1,000 premium when in stock. If you specifically want white, check MDComputers - they stock both variants more reliably than most.
Who Should Buy This
You want a compact, high-performance build without sacrificing component options. You're pairing an ITX motherboard with a Ryzen 5/7 or i5/i7, a mid-to-high-end GPU, and want a build you can move around easily. College hostel rooms, small apartments, LAN party builds - the NR200P fits all of these. The build quality for the price is hard to match in this form factor.
Who Should Skip This
If you've never built a PC before, start with a mid-tower ATX. ITX builds require more planning - component compatibility, cable routing in tight spaces, thermal management - and the NR200P doesn't change that reality. Also skip if you need a Micro-ATX or ATX motherboard; this case is strictly Mini-ITX. And if you want multiple HDDs or three M.2 slots - you'll find the storage options limited compared to mid-tower builds.
Questions
Yes - up to 130mm length, which covers most ATX PSUs including the Seasonic Focus GX and Corsair RM series. Longer ATX units (160mm+) won't fit. Check your PSU dimensions before buying.
I've tested this in 38°C ambient. With a 240mm AIO on the CPU and the GPU exhausting through the side mesh panels, thermals are manageable for Ryzen 5/i5-class builds. High-TDP chips like i9-13900K will run warmer than in a mid-tower - plan your fan curve accordingly.
The NR200P adds tempered glass side panels. If airflow is your priority, the NR200 with full mesh panels runs 3–5°C cooler in hot ambient conditions. If you want to show off your build, the NR200P is the better-looking option. Price difference is typically ₹500–1,000.
