When someone asks me what RAM to put in an AM4 build with a Noctua NH-D15, this is usually the answer. The Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB DDR4-3200 (2x16GB) covers all three requirements simultaneously: 32GB is the right gaming capacity, DDR4-3200 is the AM4 baseline frequency, and the LPX profile at 34mm height fits under large air coolers that would reject standard-height sticks.
Why Large Air Cooler Clearance Matters on AM4
The Noctua NH-D15 is the benchmark large air cooler for good reason - in terms of cooling performance per noise level, it remains one of the top choices for AM4 and AM5 builds. But its dual-tower design with a fan between the towers creates an overhang situation on many AM4 boards. The NH-D15's left tower extends over the DIMM slots.
On popular AM4 boards - the MSI B550 Tomahawk, ASUS ROG Strix B550-F, Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro - the DIMM slots sit close enough to the CPU socket that the NH-D15's left tower requires RAM height under approximately 35mm to install without removing the left fan. Standard Vengeance DDR4 sticks (non-LPX) come in at around 44mm and will conflict.
The Vengeance LPX solves this. At 34mm, it fits without fan removal on boards where standard-height RAM would require awkward fan repositioning or straight-up removal of the inner fan.
Performance on AM4
DDR4-3200 CL16 at XMP 2.0 is the reliable AM4 target. Enable XMP in BIOS and the kit runs at rated speed. At ₹7,000–10,000, the 32GB LPX DDR4-3200 is priced reasonably for 32GB DDR4 with a low-profile form factor. Standard-height 32GB DDR4-3200 kits often land at similar or only slightly lower prices in India, meaning the LPX premium is minimal.

Comparing to Other 32GB DDR4-3200 Options
Kingston Fury Beast DDR4-3200 32GB is a standard-height competitor at similar prices - fine for builds where cooler clearance is not a concern. G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4-3200 32GB is another standard-height option. Neither provides the clearance solution the LPX does.
