The 3060's counter-argument is real and worth stating fairly: 12GB against 8GB. If you play texture-heavy titles, mod heavily, or want to run local AI models where VRAM is the binding constraint, the older card genuinely does something the newer one cannot. That is a narrow but legitimate case.
For ordinary 1080p gaming, though, it is the wrong trade - you would be paying more for fewer frames on older architecture with weaker upscaling, to hold VRAM you will not use at that resolution. Buy the 7600. And if 12GB matters to you specifically, don't settle for a 3060 - the money is better aimed at a modern 12GB card.
The RTX 3060 launched in 2021, but shelf age alone does not determine warranty. Coverage depends on the AIB partner, seller channel, serial eligibility and invoice terms. Ask for the exact model and written Indian warranty details before paying, especially for clearance or open-box stock.

GetPC's relative scores are 22 and 19, about 16% higher from the RTX 3060 baseline. This is not a universal game average; compare independent tests for your settings and CPU. The current catalogue also puts the RX 7600 roughly ₹4,000 lower.
Check the exact AIB model, physical condition, seller invoice, serial eligibility and written Indian warranty coverage. Do not assume that either the launch year or a low price tells you when warranty starts.
RTX 3060 12GB
Older Ampere card best treated as a 1080p option or an editor-focused 12GB CUDA card. GetPC considers Rs 23,000-25,000 sensible new pricing and recommends avoiding listings above Rs 30,000.
RX 7600 8GB
Capable 1080p card, but poor new value near ₹38,000. GetPC previously sold it around ₹26,000 and now recommends the RTX 5060 for a fresh build. A tested used unit can make sense around ₹22,000–26,000.
