Asus TUF Gaming GT301 ARGB Review: Asus Enters India's PC Case Market

Asus has never really been a case brand in India before. Motherboards, yes. GPUs, yes. TUF Gaming laptops and monitors, yes. But a proper mid-tower cabinet has been missing from Asus's Indian lineup until the GT301 ARGB started showing up on retailer shelves. That's worth flagging upfront: this is a genuinely new brand entry into the case category for us, not a refresh of something already covered on GetPC.

At ₹7,359 to ₹7,999 depending on retailer, the GT301 ARGB sits in the same bracket as the Corsair 4000D Airflow and Lian Li Lancool 205, which is exactly the crowd it's trying to compete with.

What You Get

Full mesh front panel for airflow, three ARGB fans pre-installed (two front intake, one rear exhaust), a tempered glass side panel, tool-free thumbscrews on both side panels, and a PSU shroud with cable routing channels behind it. The case supports up to six fans total and a 360mm radiator up front. GPU clearance is around 400mm, which covers essentially every card sold in India right now, including the longer RTX 4070 Ti Super variants. CPU cooler height clearance sits around 170mm, enough for a Noctua NH-D15 or Deepcool AK620 without lid-closing drama.

Build quality is standard ATX steel with a genuine full-mesh front rather than the partial-mesh compromise you see on cheaper cases. Asus's TUF Gaming sub-brand built its reputation on rugged component testing for motherboards, and that "built tough" positioning carries over here, even though a case doesn't strictly need military-spec testing to survive an Indian summer.

India Pricing and Availability

ComputechStore, PCStudio, and EZPZ Solutions list it between ₹7,359 and ₹7,999 as of July 2026. Amazon India carries it too, usually near the higher end of that range. Since this is a new SKU for Asus in India, stock can be patchy outside the major online retailers. I'd check ComputechStore or PCStudio directly rather than assuming your local Nehru Place or SP Road dealer has it on the shelf yet. Asus's existing motherboard and GPU distribution network, mostly through Rashi Peripherals, should help this normalize over the next few months.

Who Should Buy It

Buy this if you already own Asus components (a TUF Gaming motherboard, an Asus GPU) and want the build to match aesthetically, or if you want a well-built mesh-front airflow case from a brand with strong RMA support in India. The three included ARGB fans and mesh front make it a solid choice for a mid-range gaming build in a room without air conditioning.

Skip it if a ₹1,000–1,500 price gap to a Lian Li Lancool 205 or Corsair 4000D Airflow matters more to you than brand matching, or if you want a case with a longer proven reliability record in India. Asus cases simply don't have the multi-year track record here that Corsair or Cooler Master do yet.
