DeepCool CH510 Review India: Best Airflow Mid-Tower Under ₹9,000?
DeepCool CH510 Review India: Thermals First, Looks Second
Most mid-tower cases in India at the ₹6,000–9,000 range fall into two camps: mesh-front airflow cases with mediocre build quality, or solid-front cases with decent build quality and poor thermals. The DeepCool CH510 sits clearly in the airflow camp and does it well.
Build Quality, Airflow, and Features
The mesh front panel on the CH510 is fully perforated - not a partial mesh with solid sections, but a full open mesh that lets air flow through without restriction. DeepCool pairs this with a mesh top panel option (the default top panel is solid with ventilation, but the mesh variant is available). For India's climate where ambient temperatures regularly hit 35–40°C in summer, this matters. Restricted airflow in a solid-front case can push CPU and GPU temps up by 5–10°C compared to a well-configured mesh case.
One 140mm fan comes included at the rear. This is the baseline - for a complete build, I would add two 120mm or 140mm front intakes. The case supports up to three 120mm or two 140mm fans at the front, and up to three 120mm or a 360mm radiator there as well.
GPU clearance at 380mm is generous. An RTX 4090 or RX 7900 XTX fits - not that the CH510's price range build would typically pair with these, but it future-proofs the case if you upgrade the GPU later. The 360mm radiator support at the front means you can run a high-performance AIO without case restrictions.
Aesthetics are deliberately understated. There is no RGB on the case itself, no aggressive angular styling - just clean lines, a large tempered glass side panel, and a functional mesh front. If you want a case that looks like a computer and not a prop from a sci-fi film, the CH510 has appeal. If RGB and aggressive styling matter, look elsewhere.
Build quality is solid for the price. Steel panels are thicker than budget cases, tolerances are tight, and the tempered glass side panel is properly thick. The overall feel is closer to mid-range than budget.
India Pricing and Where to Buy
The CH510 is available at ₹6,500–9,000 in India. MDComputers and Vedant Computers typically stock it at the lower end. PrimeABGB carries it consistently. Amazon India has it listed but pricing varies - it has been as low as ₹6,800 on sale. Flipkart stock is inconsistent.
At this price, the main competition is the Fractal Design Focus 2 (₹8,000–10,000) and the Cooler Master TD500 Mesh (₹8,500–10,500). The CH510 undercuts both while delivering comparable airflow performance.
Who Should Buy This
Buy if: You are building a mid-range gaming rig in India and thermals are your top priority. The mesh front genuinely helps in 38–40°C ambient conditions. Good choice for Ryzen 5 7600X / i5-13600K builds paired with an RTX 4060 Ti or RX 7700 where you want to keep temperatures manageable without spending on premium cooling.
Skip if: RGB and aggressive aesthetics matter for your build - there are better-looking cases at this price range. Also skip if you want a lot of included fans - one rear 140mm is all you get, so budget for two or three additional fans in your build cost.
Dust filters are present but the open mesh nature of the front means dust will accumulate faster than with a solid-front case. In Delhi, Rajasthan, or other high-dust regions, plan on monthly filter cleaning during dry season.
Questions
Yes, a 360mm radiator can be mounted at the front. Verify your radiator and fan thickness combination fits within the clearance - some thick radiators with thick fans can interfere with longer GPUs. DeepCool's spec sheet lists exact clearances.
The CH510 supports up to three 120mm or two 140mm fans at the front, one 140mm at the rear, and up to three 120mm or two 140mm at the top. Total fan positions: seven. You will add fans over time - start with two front intakes.
It is one of the better choices in its price band for Indian conditions. The full mesh front allows unrestricted airflow, which matters when ambient temperatures are 35–40°C. Pair it with at least two front intake fans and a rear exhaust and you have a well-ventilated system.
