DeepCool CH160 Review India: The Budget ITX Case Worth Considering

I have been watching the ITX case market in India closely, and budget small-form-factor options are still surprisingly scarce. Most decent SFF cases land above ₹10,000, which is a tough ask when you are already spending heavily on CPU and GPU. The DeepCool CH160 changes that calculation a bit.

Build Quality, Airflow, and Features

The CH160 is built around a dual-chamber layout - PSU sits in a separate lower chamber, components in the upper half. The mesh panels on the front and top are the highlight: airflow through this case is noticeably better than similarly priced solid-front ITX cases. DeepCool includes a 120mm fan at the rear, which is enough to get started but you will likely want to add a 120mm or 140mm front intake.

GPU clearance is rated at 320mm, which covers most single-fan and dual-fan cards comfortably - an RTX 4060 or RX 7600 fits without issue. The 240mm AIO support means you are not stuck with air cooling, which matters for a compact case where a dual-tower air cooler is simply not an option. Full-size ATX PSU support is the feature that sets the CH160 apart from many competing ITX cases - modular ATX units are far more common and often cheaper than SFX units in India.

Build quality is honest at this price. The steel panels are thinner than what you get from a Lian Li or Fractal case. Tolerances are acceptable - panels line up, screws go in cleanly - but you will feel the difference if you have handled a premium ITX case before. For a first build or a practical secondary rig, this is fine. For a showcase build where the case itself is part of the aesthetic, it is not.

Cable management is workable. The tight ITX layout means you need to plan your cable routing carefully, especially with a non-modular PSU (which I would not recommend in this case for obvious reasons).

India Pricing and Where to Buy

The CH160 sits at ₹5,500–8,000 depending on stock and platform. MDComputers tends to have the most consistent stock and competitive pricing. PrimeABGB and Vedant Computers carry it intermittently. Amazon India and Flipkart listings exist but prices fluctuate - check before ordering.

This is notably less than the Cooler Master NR200P (₹10,000–12,000) and significantly less than Lian Li Q58 or similar premium ITX options. If budget is the primary constraint on your ITX build, the CH160 is the one to look at.

Who Should Buy This

Buy if: You want to build a compact Ryzen 5 or i5 system on a budget, you already own or plan to buy an ATX PSU (not SFX), and you are fine with a practical rather than premium build. The mesh panels mean it handles India's heat reasonably well - I would add a 120mm intake fan at the front to keep GPU temps in check during summer months.

Skip if: Build quality and premium aesthetics matter to you - the NR200P or Lian Li A4 H2O is worth the extra spend. Also skip if your GPU is longer than 320mm or if you want to run a 280mm or 360mm AIO.

One India-specific note: the mesh panels are good for airflow but offer less dust protection than a solid-front case. If you live in a dusty environment (most of north India in summer), clean the mesh filter monthly. Monsoon humidity is not a concern for a sealed component system but ensure good ambient airflow around the case.
