The Plain Vortex, Not the Screen One

If you've read my review of the Vortex View 360, you know Antec's flagship AIO has a 5-inch LCD built into the pump and costs ₹36,995. This is not that cooler. The Vortex 360 ARGB is the base tier of Antec's AIO lineup in India — a conventional 360mm radiator, three 120mm ARGB fans, and a pump top with basic addressable RGB. No screen, no software dashboard, no premium fit-and-finish upgrades. It's the cooler Antec is counting on to move volume, priced to compete in the segment where most Indian builders actually shop for AIOs.

How It Stacks Up on Price

Antec isn't alone at this price point. Corsair's Nautilus RS 360 runs ₹7,135-8,486 depending on retailer, and MSI's Coreliquid AIOs sit in a similar band. That puts the Vortex 360 ARGB slightly above Corsair's equivalent rather than undercutting it, which is a tougher sell for a newer brand — you'd expect the less established name to discount for trial. Antec isn't doing that, so the pitch rests on build quality and fan performance, not being the cheapest 360mm option on the shelf.

Socket Support and India Summer Performance

The Vortex 360 ARGB covers AM5, AM4, LGA1700, and LGA1851, compatible with current Ryzen and Intel platforms plus older AM4 builds. As a 360mm radiator, it has enough surface area to handle mid to high-end CPUs comfortably even through Indian summers, where 35-40°C ambient temperatures push AIOs harder than quoted specs assume. Expect louder fan curves through peak summer than marketing numbers suggest, but the radiator size gives you real thermal headroom a 240mm cooler wouldn't have at the same ambient.

The India Retail Reality

Here's the honest part: Antec is still a newer name for cooling in India specifically, sold mainly through MDComputers and antecindia.in rather than the wider distributor network Corsair or Cooler Master built up over a decade-plus. Not a dealbreaker, but if RMA convenience and years of Indian ownership data matter as much as price to you, that's a real factor weighing against Antec right now.

Who Should Buy / Who Should Skip

Buy this if: you want a straightforward 360mm ARGB AIO, you're comfortable buying from MDComputers or antecindia.in directly, and you don't need a screen or elaborate pump lighting.

Skip this if: you want the cheapest 360mm AIO available (Corsair's Nautilus RS 360 undercuts it), or you'd rather stick with a brand that has a longer support track record in India.
