The Arctic Freezer 36 sits in a specific sweet spot that not many coolers occupy: it is a mid-range single-tower with a push-pull fan configuration, aggressive pricing at ₹2,799–3,299, and Arctic's excellent build quality. It launched as the successor to the Freezer 34, and the key upgrade is the shift to Arctic's P12 fans - which are legitimately good performers that Arctic also sells separately.
For builds in the ₹45,000–70,000 range with CPUs in the 65–125W TDP bracket, the Freezer 36 is one of the cleanest recommendations I can make. It fits where the ID-Cooling SE-226-XT plays, but with better fan quality and push-pull configuration out of the box.

Thermal Performance and Noise - A Genuine Surprise
The Freezer 36 outperforms many single-tower coolers at its price because of two things: the dual P12 fan configuration and the quality of those fans. Arctic's P12 fans move a lot of air efficiently and quietly - they are one of the best value fans you can buy at any price, and getting two of them bundled with a cooler is meaningful.
At 38°C ambient, the Freezer 36 keeps a Ryzen 5 7600 around 68–72°C under load - genuinely solid. An i5-14400F (which boosts to 148W transiently but typically runs at 65–80W sustained) stays in the 72–78°C range. Where it starts struggling is sustained 125W+ loads - a Ryzen 7 7700X at full PBO will hit high 70s to low 80s in Indian summer, which is still within spec but leaves minimal headroom.
Noise is the strong suit here. At 1,000–1,200 RPM, the P12 fans are nearly silent. Even at full speed, they are quieter than most coolers in this price range.
