What You Actually Get at ₹3,875

The A35 A-RGB is Arctic's entry-level tower cooler, and it's built to a price. You get a single 120mm PWM fan with ARGB lighting, a compression-mount bracket, pre-applied MX-2 thermal paste (Arctic's own compound, not a bad one), and four heatpipes running through a modest aluminium fin stack. Nothing here is exotic. It's the same formula every budget tower cooler uses, but Arctic tunes the fan curve and fin density well enough that it consistently outperforms the wraith-style coolers bundled with mid-range Ryzen chips.

This is an AMD-socket-specific SKU, so it ships with AM4 and AM5 mounting hardware and nothing for Intel. If you're on an Intel board, you want the i35, not this one.

Thermal Ceiling: Where It Works and Where It Doesn't

For anything in the 65W to 105W TDP range, the A35 is genuinely good. On a Ryzen 5 5600 or a Ryzen 5 7600, it keeps temps in a comfortable range under gaming loads and holds up reasonably under sustained all-core work, though you'll hear the fan ramp up during long renders or compiles.

Where it falls apart is anything with a big heat spike under the hood, think 7800X3D, 7900X, or 7950X-class chips. Those parts either run hot by design or push well past what a single 120mm tower with four heatpipes can dissipate. Pair the A35 with one of those and you'll hit thermal throttling under any sustained load, especially in a warm Indian room in April through June where ambient temps can sit at 35-40°C even indoors. This cooler is built for stock-clocked, mid-range chips, not for chasing every last MHz out of a flagship.

Noise and the AM4/AM5 Question

Under light load the fan is close to silent. Push it to full RPM under a stress test and it's audible but not obnoxious, comparable to most budget 120mm coolers in this bracket. It won't win any acoustic awards, but it's quieter than the stock AMD cooler it's replacing in almost every case.

Socket support covers both AM4 and AM5, so it works whether you're building a fresh Ryzen 7000-series rig or upgrading an older AM4 board. The mounting mechanism is straightforward and doesn't require removing the motherboard from the case on most builds, which matters if you're doing this upgrade after the fact rather than during initial assembly.

Who Should Buy / Who Should Skip

Buy this if: You're building a budget-to-mid AMD system around a Ryzen 5 5600, 5700X, or 7600, and you want something quieter and better-looking than the stock cooler without spending real money on cooling.

Skip this if: You're running a 7800X3D or anything with a TDP north of 120W, or you're planning to overclock. Step up to Arctic's own Liquid Freezer III 360 or a proper dual-tower air cooler instead.
