ASRock makes a lot of B450 variants and the HDV is the bottom of that stack. Two DDR4 slots (up to 32GB, not four), a single PCIe 3.0 x16 slot for your GPU, basic Realtek audio and LAN, and four SATA3 ports. That's essentially the whole feature list.
The one thing worth calling out clearly: there is no M.2 slot on this board. If you want NVMe storage, you're not getting it here, you're running SATA SSDs only. For a lot of budget builders that's a real limitation, so check this before you buy rather than after your NVMe drive shows up with nowhere to plug in.
The "R4.0" in the name isn't marketing fluff. ASRock revised the board specifically to ship with a BIOS that boots Ryzen 5000 series CPUs (5500, 5600) without needing an older Ryzen chip to flash it first.
