Where to buy ASRock B760M Pro RS in India

Expect to pay roughly 12,200-13,500 for the ASRock B760M Pro RS in India right now, depending on offers and seller. I always recommend buying from retailers that give a proper GST invoice - it's what makes your India warranty claim smooth later.

In my years running a PC store, PrimeABGB (Mumbai) and Vedant Computers (Kolkata) have also been consistently reliable for verified stock - compare before buying.

ASRock B760M Pro RS Review India: The DDR5 Default at ₹12,750

30-Second Version: The ASRock B760M Pro RS is the DDR5 sibling of the Pro RS/D4, at ₹12,750, just ₹951 more than the DDR4 version. Same mATX layout, same VRM, same connectivity, but future-proofed memory support. Unless you have a DDR4 kit sitting around, this is the smarter buy of the two.

The DDR5 Upgrade, Barely a Premium

I covered the B760M Pro RS/D4 separately, and the story here is basically the same board with DDR5 slots instead of DDR4. At ₹12,750 versus ₹11,799 for the DDR4 version, you're paying under ₹1,000 extra for a memory standard that's going to matter a lot more over the next few years than it does today. DDR5 kit prices in India have come down enough that the total build cost gap has narrowed too, it's not the DDR4-to-DDR5 tax it used to be in 2022-2023.

Everything else tracks with the Pro RS/D4: mATX form factor, dual M.2 slots, 2.5G LAN, a VRM that's built to comfortably run i5-class non-K chips, and no WiFi on this base SKU. If you want WiFi, ASRock doesn't currently have a direct DDR5 WiFi twin of this exact board in the confirmed lineup, look at the B760M PG Lightning WiFi or the full-size B760 Pro RS WiFi instead.

Who It's Built For

This is my default recommendation for anyone building fresh with Core i5-14400F and no existing DDR4 kit to reuse. Buying DDR5 now means your next motherboard upgrade (whenever LGA1700 eventually ages out) doesn't force a RAM repurchase alongside it.

India Pricing

₹12,750 confirmed at PrimeABGB. Expect comparable pricing at MDComputers and Vedant Computers. ASRock's standard 3-year India warranty applies. DDR5 kits to pair with it run ₹3,500-5,000 for a 16GB (2x8GB) set from Corsair or G.Skill at Indian retailers.

Who Should Buy / Who Should Skip

Buy this if you're building fresh with no DDR4 to reuse, want the more future-relevant memory standard, and don't mind skipping WiFi.

Skip this if you already own a DDR4 kit (grab the Pro RS/D4 instead and save on both board and RAM), or you specifically need built-in WiFi.

Questions

What's the warranty in India for the ASRock B760M Pro RS?
3 years ASRock India. This is the official Indian distributor version, which means full manufacturer warranty support.
What does BIOS Flashback mean and do I need it?
BIOS Flashback lets you update the motherboard's BIOS using only a USB stick - no CPU required. We haven't verified yet whether this board has it - check the maker's spec page. It matters if you're planning a Ryzen 9000 build. If a board lacks Flashback, buy from a seller who pre-flashes it (MDC, PrimeABGB).
Is DDR5 worth the extra cost over the D4 version?

At under ₹1,000 difference for the board itself, yes, especially since DDR5 kit prices have dropped enough in India that the total build premium is manageable now.

Does the Pro RS support memory overclocking?

Yes, B760 supports XMP/EXPO memory tuning, just not CPU overclocking, that's reserved for Z790.

What's the difference between this and the Pro RS/D4?

Only the memory type. DDR5 here versus DDR4 on the D4 variant. VRM, layout, and connectivity are otherwise identical.
