Where to buy ASRock Z690M ITX AX in India

Expect to pay roughly 21,700-24,000 for the ASRock Z690M ITX AX in India right now, depending on offers and seller. I always recommend buying from retailers that give a proper GST invoice - it's what makes your India warranty claim smooth later.

In my years running a PC store, PrimeABGB (Mumbai) and Vedant Computers (Kolkata) have also been consistently reliable for verified stock - compare before buying.

ASRock Z690M-ITX/ax Review India: A Mini-ITX Way Onto Z690 for ₹22,650

30-Second Version: The ASRock Z690M-ITX/ax costs ₹22,650 at PrimeABGB and it's my first Z690 writeup on GetPC, so let me set that context before anything else. Z690 has been a wholesale gap on this site, and this board fills it in the most space-constrained form factor there is: mini-ITX, DDR4, with WiFi 6E built in. If you want a genuinely small 12th/13th/14th gen Intel build without stepping down to a B660 or H670 board, this is the option.

Z690 Was Missing From GetPC, This Is Where It Starts

Before this batch of articles, GetPC had zero Z690 coverage despite the chipset being Intel's launch platform for LGA1700 back with 12th gen Alder Lake. That's a real gap, because Z690 boards still make sense today: they support 12th gen (i5-12400F and friends), 13th gen (i5-13600KF), and 14th gen (i7-14700K) CPUs already on this site, since LGA1700 didn't change socket across all three generations.

The Z690M-ITX/ax is ASRock's compact answer to that platform. Mini-ITX form factor, DDR4 memory (a meaningful cost saver, more on that below), and the "ax" suffix meaning WiFi 6E is standard rather than an add-in card or missing entirely.

What You're Trading Away for the Small Size

Mini-ITX always means compromises, and this board is honest about where they land. You get a single M.2 slot region (typically one high-speed NVMe slot plus a secondary shared with SATA lanes), two DDR4 slots instead of four, and a tighter VRM than you'd get on an ATX Z690 board at a similar price. For a small-form-factor build with one GPU, one storage drive, and no ambition to run four RAM sticks, none of that matters. If you're planning 64GB+ of RAM or multiple NVMe drives, look at an ATX board instead.

The upside of the compromise: the chipset itself is still full Z690, meaning CPU overclocking support is intact even though this is the smallest board carrying it. Pair it with an unlocked K-series chip in a small-form-factor case and you keep the tuning headroom that H670 or B660 boards simply don't offer.

WiFi 6E and I/O

WiFi 6E is the headline inclusion here, it's a genuinely newer standard than the WiFi 6 you'll find on most budget boards, adding the 6GHz band for less network congestion if you have a compatible router. Rear I/O on a board this size is necessarily tight, but ASRock includes the essentials: USB 3.2 ports, HDMI/DisplayPort for iGPU output, and 2.5G LAN alongside the wireless module.

India Pricing

₹22,650 at PrimeABGB. That's a fair price for a mini-ITX board with WiFi 6E on a launch-tier Z690 chipset, roughly in line with what you'd pay for an ATX Steel Legend-tier board once you account for the ITX size premium that's typical across every brand.

Who Should Buy / Who Should Skip

Buy this if you're building a genuinely small Z690 system, want CPU overclocking headroom in a mini-ITX case, and don't need more than two RAM slots or multiple M.2 drives.

Skip this if you need more than 64GB RAM, want multiple NVMe slots for a storage-heavy build, or don't actually need mini-ITX, an ATX Z690 board gets you more for similar or less money.

Questions

What's the warranty in India for the ASRock Z690M ITX AX?
3 years ASRock India. This is the official Indian distributor version, which means full manufacturer warranty support.
What does BIOS Flashback mean and do I need it?
BIOS Flashback lets you update the motherboard's BIOS using only a USB stick - no CPU required. We haven't verified yet whether this board has it - check the maker's spec page. It matters if you're planning a Ryzen 9000 build. If a board lacks Flashback, buy from a seller who pre-flashes it (MDC, PrimeABGB).
Does the Z690M-ITX/ax support 13th and 14th gen Intel CPUs?

Yes, with a BIOS update. Z690 is the LGA1700 launch chipset and supports 12th, 13th, and 14th gen CPUs on the same socket, including the i5-13600KF and i7-14700K already covered on GetPC.

Is DDR4 a real downside on this board?

Not for most India buyers. DDR4 kits are meaningfully cheaper than DDR5 in 2026, and if you're carrying over RAM from a previous build, this board lets you reuse it. See our DDR4 vs DDR5 guide for the full breakdown.

Can I fit a full-size GPU in a mini-ITX case with this board?

Yes, the PCIe x16 slot supports full-length GPUs, the limiting factor is your case's clearance, not the motherboard.
