TUF Gaming Finally Gets B660 Coverage

I've had TUF Gaming boards on GetPC for a while now, but they started at B550 and B760, skipping B660 entirely. That's a real gap, because TUF is a genuinely popular line here for anyone who wants sturdier build quality without paying ROG Strix money. The TUF Gaming B660M-Plus D4 closes it. mATX, DDR4, no WiFi on this specific variant, and ASUS's usual TUF treatment: military-grade component tolerances, beefier VRM heatsinks, and a thermal design meant to handle sustained load a bit better than the entry-level Prime line.

Practically, that means better VRM cooling and marginally more consistent power delivery under long gaming or rendering sessions compared to a Prime board. It's not going to matter for light desktop use, but if you're running your CPU under load for hours regularly, it's a legitimate reason to pick TUF.

Three Boards, Almost the Same Price

Here's where it gets interesting. This board costs about the same as the Prime B660M-A D4 I've also covered, and TUF's own WiFi variant is only around ₹2,500 more.

Against the Prime board, the extra TUF durability effectively costs you nothing at current pricing, so if you're already spending Prime money, TUF is the better buy unless you specifically don't care about the sturdier VRM. Against its own WiFi sibling, the ₹2,500 gap is the same WiFi question as everywhere else in this lineup: worth it if you don't have Ethernet nearby, skippable if you do.

Who Should Buy / Who Should Skip

Buy this if you want better VRM cooling and build durability than the Prime line for basically the same price, and you don't need WiFi built in.

Skip this if you want to save every rupee possible, in which case Prime B660M-A D4 is nearly identical in price with less durability headroom you may never use.
