WiFi or Non-WiFi: Is ₹2,500 Worth It

ASUS also sells a non-WiFi version of this exact board, the TUF Gaming B660M-Plus D4, for around ₹19,500. Same VRM, same TUF durability certification, same layout, minus the wireless card. That makes the decision fairly simple: if your PC sits near your router or you're running ethernet anyway, save the ₹2,500 and get the non-WiFi version. If your build is in a room without an ethernet drop, or you just don't want a cable running across the floor, the WiFi version pays for itself the moment you'd otherwise have bought a separate WiFi card, which typically costs close to that ₹2,500 gap on its own once you account for a decent one.

The BIOS Update Still Applies Here Too

Check the exact CPU support entry and installed BIOS for a 13th/14th Gen CPU. This board has ASUS EZ Flash 3, not CPU-free BIOS FlashBack. If it cannot boot the new CPU, arrange a seller update using a supported processor. B660 permits memory tuning but not CPU multiplier overclocking.

Skip this if you're ethernet-only, in which case get the non-WiFi TUF Gaming B660M-Plus D4 and save ₹2,500, or if ₹22,000 is simply too much for a non-overclockable chipset, in which case the Gigabyte B660 Aorus Elite AX DDR4 gets you WiFi 6 and 2.5GbE for around ₹6,000 less.
