G.Skill Ripjaws S5 96GB DDR5-6400 CL32 Price in India: The Smarter AM5 96GB Pick
The Tighter-Timing Sibling
This is the second of two 96GB Ripjaws S5 kits G.Skill sells, and it fixes the one weakness of the DDR5-6800 CL34 kit: paying extra for headline MHz that doesn't reliably translate into a real AM5 performance win. At CL32 relative to 6400 MT/s, the timings are proportionally tighter, and the math works out to roughly the same 10ns absolute latency as the 6800 CL34 kit.
SKU: F5-6400J3239F48GX2-RS5K. Capacity: 96GB (2x48GB). Speed: DDR5-6400. Timings: CL32-39-39-102. Voltage: 1.35V. No RGB, low-profile aluminum heatsink.
AM5 vs Intel: Which Kit to Actually Buy
On AMD AM5, Ryzen 7000/9000's Infinity Fabric runs best 1:1 with the memory controller up to roughly DDR5-6000 to 6400. Push past that to DDR5-6800 and the fabric often decouples to 2:1, adding latency that offsets the higher raw bandwidth. That means this 6400 CL32 kit is the practical choice for AM5 builds paired with something like a Ryzen 9 9900X or Ryzen 7 7700X. You get the same effective latency for less money.
On Intel LGA1700/1851, the memory controller handles higher speeds more natively, so the 6800 CL34 kit is worth the extra ₹2,750 there if you want the bandwidth headroom.
Who Should Buy / Who Should Skip
Buy this if: you're building on AM5 and want 96GB for creator or workstation work without paying a premium for MHz your platform can't fully use. Skip this if: you're on high-end Intel and want maximum bandwidth (get the 6800 kit instead), or you don't actually need 96GB, in which case a Ripjaws S5 32GB DDR5-6000 is far cheaper and better suited to gaming.

Questions
On AM5, buy the 6400 CL32 kit and save the money. On Intel LGA1700/1851, the 6800 CL34 kit is worth the small premium for the extra bandwidth headroom.
For gaming, yes. For video editing, VM work, or heavy multitasking, it's a legitimate and increasingly common capacity tier.
