NZXT H6 Flow: The Compact Dual-Chamber Case That Makes Cable Management Easy

I get asked a version of the same question every week: "I'm a first-time builder, what case won't make me hate my life during cable management?" The NZXT H6 Flow is my go-to answer when the budget is around ₹14,000.

Why the dual chamber matters more than the mesh

The H6 Flow splits into two chambers: the main compartment holds your motherboard and GPU, while a second, hidden chamber behind it takes the PSU and most of your cabling. If you've ever built in a single-chamber budget case and spent an hour fighting a 24-pin cable to lie flat behind the motherboard tray, you'll understand why this matters. In the H6 Flow, most of that mess just disappears behind a panel. For a first-time builder in India assembling their first rig without a mentor standing over their shoulder, this alone is worth the price premium over a plain ₹6,000 mesh box.

The front panel is proper perforated mesh with a washable dust filter, which matters a lot here. In peak Indian summer, ambient case-adjacent temperatures in a non-AC room can sit at 35-40°C, and a poorly ventilated case pushes your CPU and GPU into thermal throttling territory much faster than the same components in a well-flowing one. The H6 Flow's front-to-back airflow path keeps things reasonable even without extra fans, though I'd still budget for one or two additional intake fans if you're in a hot city and running anything power-hungry.

Radiator support tops out around 240/280mm up front, which is plenty for most air coolers and mid-size AIOs. If you're planning a 360mm AIO, look at the bigger NZXT H9 Flow instead. GPU clearance is roughly 365-400mm depending on configuration, which comfortably covers the RTX 4060 Ti, RTX 4070, and RX 7600 XT, the cards I see most often in ₹80,000-1,30,000 Indian builds. Just double-check clearance if you're eyeing a flagship triple-slot card like a 4080/4090 partner design, some of the longer ones get tight.

The India pricing picture

At ₹13,999 (MDComputers), the H6 Flow undercuts most cases with genuine dual-chamber design by a good margin. The catch, and it's a real one, is that it ships with plain black fans, no RGB. If lighting matters to you, the H6 Flow RGB variant runs about ₹4,000 more at ₹17,999 and includes ARGB fans plus a controller. I'd rather see people buy the base H6 Flow and put that ₹4,000 toward a better cooler or a slightly higher-wattage PSU, but if RGB is a dealbreaker for your build's aesthetic, the RGB variant is the honest upgrade path, not a third-party fan swap that voids your warranty concerns.

Who should buy this, who should skip it

Buy it if you're a first-time or intermediate builder who wants forgiving cable management in a compact footprint, and you don't care about included lighting. Skip it if you're planning a 360mm AIO or a flagship GPU (go bigger, look at the H9 Flow), or if RGB is non-negotiable for your build (get the RGB variant directly instead of adding fans later).
