RX 6650 XT 8GB India Review: Faster RX 6600 at ₹22,000–28,000
RX 6650 XT vs RX 6600: The Difference
Same Navi 23 die, same 8GB GDDR6 on a 128-bit bus, same compute unit count (32 CUs). The XT suffix means higher clocks: 2,635MHz game clock vs 2,359MHz on the RX 6600 - a 12% speed advantage. Real-world gaming improvement is 8–12% over the RX 6600 in most titles. It also uses faster GDDR6 (18Gbps vs 14Gbps) which helps in bandwidth-sensitive workloads.
The 10% faster card at 5–10% higher price is a reasonable trade, but the RX 7600's RDNA 3 architecture makes both RDNA 2 cards look dated in efficiency terms.
India Pricing
₹22,000–28,000 at MDComputers, PrimeABGB, Amazon India, Flipkart. Sapphire Pulse and XFX Speedster are the most common models. 3-year warranty through Rashi Peripherals.
Who Should Buy the RX 6650 XT
Buy this if: Found at ₹20,000 or below - at that price it beats the RX 6600 for nearly the same money. Also valid if RX 7600 is temporarily out of stock and you need a card now.
Skip this if: RX 7600 is within ₹3,000–4,000 - newer architecture, meaningfully better performance. The 6650 XT's only argument is price.
Questions
RX 7600 unless the 6650 XT is ₹4,000+ cheaper. RDNA 3 vs RDNA 2 is a real generational gap.
Adequate at 1440p medium settings in most titles. Not a comfortable 1440p card - the RX 7800 XT is the proper choice for that resolution.
Yes - FSR 3 works on all AMD RDNA GPUs including RDNA 2.
