Why ASRock Was Missing From Z790 Coverage
Until now, every Z790 board on GetPC has been Gigabyte, ASUS, or MSI. That's not a quality judgment on ASRock, it's just how the gap fell, and the Z790 Pro RS WiFi is the natural board to fix it with. It's ASRock's straightforward, mainstream-ATX Z790 offering, the same role the B760 Pro RS plays one chipset down.
You get a 14+1+1 power phase design using 50A Dr.MOS stages under an enlarged heatsink, which is plenty for running a K or KF-series 13th/14th gen chip at stock or a mild all-core overclock. Four DDR5 DIMM slots support up to 7200+ MT/s (OC), and you get a single PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for your GPU.
Storage and Connectivity
Four Hyper M.2 slots cover your storage, all running at PCIe Gen4x4. That's the one spec callout worth flagging directly: the Pro RS WiFi does not include the Gen5 "Blazing M.2" slot that ASRock puts on the Steel Legend, Nova, and Taichi Lite further up this lineup. If you're not running a PCIe 5.0 SSD anyway (and in mid-2026 India, most buyers still aren't), this changes nothing in practice. If Gen5 storage is part of your plan, look at the Steel Legend WiFi instead.
Networking is solid for the price: WiFi 6E plus a 2.5G Dragon LAN controller, and audio runs through the usual Realtek ALC897 with Nahimic software enhancement. Nothing flashy, everything functional.

₹23,500–25,500 at PrimeABGB, with EliteHubs and MDComputers carrying similar stock. That puts it right alongside the Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX DDR5 and MSI Pro Z790-A WiFi DDR5, which is exactly where you'd expect ASRock's mainstream Z790 board to land.
Who Should Buy / Who Should Skip
Buy this if you want a no-nonsense ATX Z790 board for a 13600KF, 14700K, or similar build, you don't need Gen5 storage, and you'd rather spend the savings on your GPU or cooler.
Skip this if you want a Gen5 M.2 slot for a future SSD upgrade, or you want the extra styling and VRM headroom of the Steel Legend or Nova for heavier overclocking.

No. All four M.2 slots run at PCIe Gen4x4. For Gen5 storage, step up to the Z790 Steel Legend WiFi DDR5 or Z790 Taichi Lite WiFi DDR5.
The 14+1+1 50A design handles the 14900K at stock and light overclocks fine, but if you're chasing max all-core clocks on the 14900K or 13900K, the Nova or Taichi Lite give you more thermal headroom.
WiFi 6E and Bluetooth are built in, along with 2.5G LAN, so you're covered either way.
